- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 (15 ounce) package seasoned croutons, crushed

Firstly, preheat your oven to the desired temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.

Then, prepare two separate saucepans by filling them with broccoli and cauliflower. Cover the vegetables with water and bring the mixture to a rolling boil; cook until they become tender, which should take around 3-4 minutes. Remove the saucepans from heat and drain the excess water.

Next, place the cooked vegetables in a rectangular baking dish measuring 11x7 inches. This will serve as the base for your dish.
