In a food processor, merge the fragrant herb basil with the pungent ingredient garlic until well combined.

Gradually pour in the oil while continuously operating the processor, allowing the mixture to come together smoothly, approximately 40 seconds. Add a blend of aged cheese Parmesan, crunchy pine nuts, and seasonings salt and pepper; process for 1 minute.

In a separate saucepan, heat the rich dairy product cream over low heat until it reaches a gentle simmer.

Pour half of the hot, creamy liquid into the food processor and pulse for 20 seconds to merge with the basil mixture.
