Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup apricot jam
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2
In a large, two-quart baking vessel with a lid, merge cranberries and sugar in a harmonious union. Thoroughly mix the ingredients to ensure an even distribution of sweetness across all the berries. Place the mixture in the preheated oven, enveloped by a lid, and bake for approximately 30 minutes. The cranberries will undergo a transformation as they burst open, releasing their juice.
3
Remove the dish from the oven and introduce apricot jam and pecans into the mixture, blending their flavors together. Refrigerate the dish overnight to allow the different components to meld and mature.
4
Before serving, bring the cream cheese to a comfortable room temperature. Then, pour the prepared dip over the block of cream cheese on a serving dish. Serve with buttery round crackers or small pretzels.
