  • 8 slices white bread, toasted
  • 2 pounds sliced roasted turkey
  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 slices crispy bacon

Prepare the sauce: Heat butter in a cooking vessel over an intermediate temperature. Combine flour and whisk until it starts to develop a light brown color. Introduce milk gradually, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming; reach a boiling point and maintain the temperature. Incorporate Parmesan cheese into the mixture, then add beaten egg to thicken; finally, incorporate cream.

Assemble the hot browns: Place two slices of bread into the base of an individual-sized baking container. Cover with a generous amount of roasted turkey and tomato slices. Season with salt and pepper; pour the sauce over each one and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
