SERVINGS

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 link pork sausage
- 1 frozen hash brown patty
- 2 thick slices bacon
- 1 tomato, cut in half
- 4 mushrooms, sliced
- 1 egg
- 1 slice white bread
- 1 teaspoon butter, or as needed
Instructions
1
Preheat your stove to medium heat, then place a skillet on the burner and let it warm up. Next, pour some oil into the skillet to prevent sticking.
2
Now, add the sausage and hash brown to the skillet and cook until they're nicely browned on one side, approximately 5 minutes.
3
Flip them over and continue cooking until they're browned on the other side as well. At this point, add sliced tomatoes, crispy bacon, and sautéed mushrooms to the skillet. It's best to start cooking these ingredients first since they take longer to prepare.
4
Once the tomatoes, bacon, and mushrooms are almost done, gently crack an egg into the center of the skillet. Allow it to cook until it's fully set, and if needed, add a bit more oil to get the edges crispy.
5
While the egg cooks, toast a slice of bread in the oven or under the broiler. Then, spread some butter on it to give it a rich flavor.
6
Finally, place all the ingredients from the skillet onto a plate and serve with the toasted bread on the side.
