Ingredients
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 4 (6 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
1
Combine the orange juice, lime juice, honey, and red pepper flakes in a bowl to create a marinade. Place the ingredients in a resealable plastic bag and mix well. Add the chicken to the marinade, ensuring it is fully coated, then remove any excess air from the bag. Seal the bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
2
Prepare your grill by preheating it to medium-high heat. Lightly brush the grill grates with oil to prevent sticking and promote even cooking.
3
Once the chicken has marinated, remove it from the bag and gently shake off any excess marinade. Discard the remaining marinade, as it is no longer needed.
4
Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Use a thermometer to check the internal temperature, as this will ensure the chicken is cooked through.
5
Once the chicken is cooked, garnish with cilantro and serve immediately.
