Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or 175 degrees Celsius, if you prefer metric).
2
Next, take a 9x13 inch baking dish and give it a light coating of cooking spray to prevent the dough from sticking.
3
In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of sugar and the contents of a small container labeled 'vanilla extract' until you have a smooth mixture. Set this aside for the time being.
4
Then, unroll the cans of crescent roll dough and use a rolling pin to shape each sheet into a rectangular form, measuring 9x13 inches. Place one of these rectangles at the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
5
After that, spread the previously set aside mixture of cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract evenly across the bottom layer of dough in your baking dish.
6
Cover this mixture with the remaining piece of crescent roll dough, and brush it lightly with melted butter.
7
In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of sugar and the contents of another container labeled 'cinnamon'. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top layer of dough in your baking dish.
8
Finally, place your prepared baking dish in the preheated oven and bake until the dough has puffed up and turned a golden brown color, approximately 30 minutes.
9
Once done, allow the dish to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
