Cinnamon Apple Cider Donuts
Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 pork loin chops
  • seasoning salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen apple cider concentrate, undiluted
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius.
2
In a large skillet that can withstand high oven temperatures, heat a generous amount of olive oil over an intense heat setting. Season the chops with a pinch of salt, a few grinds of pepper, a sprinkle of garlic powder, and a dash of poultry seasoning. Gently place the chops in the hot oil and sear them on both sides until they develop a rich brown color. Next, drizzle a small amount of Worcestershire sauce over the chops and pour in some apple cider.
3
Place the skillet in the preheated oven and let it cook for 25 minutes, or until the chops are cooked through to your liking. Remove the chops from the oven and transfer them to a plate, leaving the skillet behind.
4
To make the sauce, return the skillet to the stovetop over an intense heat setting. Add a small amount of sherry to the pan and bring it to a boil, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens. Once the sauce has reached your desired consistency, serve it over the chops.
