Cilantro Garlic Halibut
Ingredients
  • 4 (6 ounce) fillets halibut
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1
Preheat your grill to a very high temperature, making sure it's hot before adding the fish fillets.
2
Using a manual juicer or a citrus squeezer, extract the juice from lime wedges and apply it generously to the fish fillets. Then, sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over them for added flavor.
3
Place the fish fillets on the grill and cook for approximately 5 minutes on each side, or until they develop a nice brown color and can be easily broken apart with a fork. Transfer the cooked fish to a warm serving plate.
4
In a small skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the aroma is released and the garlic is fragrant, about 2 minutes. Next, add butter to the skillet and stir until it's fully incorporated with the garlic and oil mixture. Finally, add any remaining lime juice and chopped cilantro to the skillet. Serve the fish fillets alongside the delicious cilantro butter sauce.
