Ingredients
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 2 cups fresh blueberries, rinsed and dried

Heat the chocolate in a microwave-safe glass bowl or a metal bowl placed over boiling water, checking every 10 seconds until it's fully melted and has an even consistency. Stir constantly to avoid burning the chocolate.

Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray.

Combine the melted chocolate with blueberries in a bowl, gently mixing to coat them evenly. Use a spoon to drop small clusters of the chocolate-blueberry mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.

Put the tray in the refrigerator to set, allowing it to firm up for around 10 minutes. Store these chocolate-covered blueberries in a cool, dry place in an airtight container and they will remain fresh for approximately 2 days.
