Ingredients
- 10 small Granny Smith apples
- 1/2 cup chopped roasted peanuts
- 1/2 cup candy-coated milk chocolate candies
- 2 pounds semisweet chocolate, chopped
Instructions
1
Acquire all necessary ingredients beforehand.
2
Insert wooden craft sticks or lollipop sticks into the centers of the apples, positioning them at the base of the stem.
3
Prepare a separate area for roasted peanuts and candies by placing them on individual plates, setting them aside temporarily.
4
Melt the chocolate in a metal or glass bowl by placing it over a pan of gently bubbling water. Stir the chocolate constantly until it reaches a smooth, melted state. Remove from heat once achieved.
5
Coat apples in the melted chocolate, ensuring they are completely covered. Immediately dip or roll them in candy or nuts before placing them on a sheet of waxed paper. Continue this process with the remaining apples.
6
Allow the chocolate-coated apples to harden at room temperature until the chocolate reaches a firm, solid state. This process typically takes around 20 minutes and is necessary before serving the finished product.
