- 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup margarine

Combine rolled oats and shredded coconut in a substantial bowl, blending them until they are completely united.

Stir together sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and softened butter in a saucepan over medium heat until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps. Bring to a rolling boil and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Pour the mixture over the oats and coconut; quickly blend to coat them evenly.
