Ingredients
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 large skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cubed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 (8 ounce) cans sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 3 cups snow peas
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
1
Combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, and grated ginger in a small bowl; set aside.
2
Heat a generous amount of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sear and stir-fry the chicken and minced garlic in the oil until it reaches a fully cooked state, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Introduce the sliced mushrooms, water chestnuts, and previously prepared chicken broth mixture into the pan. Allow the sauce to start thickening, taking around 3 to 5 minutes.
3
Add the snow peas to the pan and cook until they become tender, also taking around 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer the dish to a serving platter and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before presenting.
