Chicken Ramen with Teriyaki Sauce
Ingredients
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles (flavor packets discarded)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 medium zucchini, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast meat
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce, or more to taste
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Combine 4 cups of water with the skillet and heat it up until it reaches a rolling boil.

Add 1 package of ramen noodles to the skillet and cook for approximately 5 minutes, or until they have become tender.

Simultaneously, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a separate skillet over medium heat.

Add 1 large carrot, 1 medium zucchini, and 1/2 large onion to the skillet and sauté until they have become soft and tender, taking around 5 minutes.

Add 1 cup of shredded cooked chicken, 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce, salt, and pepper to the skillet.

Cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until the chicken is heated through and the sauce has thickened.

Remove the cooked ramen noodles from the skillet with a slotted spoon and add them to the vegetable and chicken mixture.
