- 1/2 red bell pepper, cut into 2-inch-long strips
- 2 green onions, sliced diagonally
- 1 medium carrot, sliced diagonally
- 1 stalk celery, sliced diagonally
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 dash black pepper
- 1 cup cooked, shredded boneless, skinless chicken breast meat
- 4 ounces broken-up uncooked ramen noodles

Combine the broth, sliced bell pepper, chopped green onions, grated carrot, diced celery, minced garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, and a pinch of pepper in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat; bring the mixture to a rolling boil.

Next, add the cooked chicken and noodles to the saucepan; stir gently to distribute the ingredients evenly. Gradually decrease the heat to a medium setting and continue cooking until the noodles are tender, which should take approximately 10 minutes.
