- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into thin strips
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup pesto
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Begin by filling a large container with salted water and placing it on the stovetop to reach its boiling point. Once boiling, carefully add your pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes or until it reaches the perfect texture of being slightly firm in the center; then, drain the water.

In a large pan over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil together. Add your chicken and garlic to the pan and cook until the chicken is almost fully cooked through. Next, lower the heat and gently combine salt, pepper, cream, pesto, and Parmesan cheese into the pan. Continue to cook until the chicken is no longer pink in the middle; finally, stir in your cooked pasta.
