Ingredients
- 4 zucchini, cut into spirals using a spiral slicer
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- cooking spray
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste

Prepare a baking surface by lining it with parchment paper

. Next, prepare the zucchini for cooking by placing its spirals in a colander and sprinkling 1 teaspoon of salt and Italian seasoning over the zucchini; mix well to coat. Allow excess moisture from the zucchini to drain by placing the colander over a bowl.

Prepare the chicken for cooking by wrapping it in plastic wrap and then placing it on a work surface; pound it into a thickness of 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Remove the plastic wrap and season the chicken with salt and pepper.

Heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over low heat
