Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup seasoned rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha chile sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 cooked chicken breast
- 1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped roasted, salted peanuts
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh mint
- 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
Instructions
1
Combine minced garlic, rice vinegar, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, Sriracha, hoisin, and sesame oil in a bowl to create the dressing.
2
Cut the chicken into thin strips comparable to spaghetti strands and chill it until needed.
3
Boil a large pot of salted water, then cook the spaghetti in it until it's tender but still has some bite, taking about 12 minutes. Drain the spaghetti with cold water and transfer it to a separate bowl.
4
Add the chicken, carrots, bell pepper, and green onions to the spaghetti in the bowl. Pour the dressing over it and mix everything together by hand until well combined.
5
Cover the salad with plastic wrap to prevent contamination and refrigerate it for 2-12 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together.
6
Sprinkle peanuts, basil, mint, and cilantro over the salad. Mix everything well to ensure even distribution of flavors.
