- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix, or more to taste
- 8 (6 inch) flour tortillas

Preheat your cooking surface by heating a generous amount of oil in a medium-sized pan over a moderate flame. Introduce the onion and bell pepper into the pan, stirring them constantly until they become tender and lose their raw appearance, approximately 5 minutes. Move the vegetables to a separate serving dish.

Add the chicken to the pan, adding more oil if necessary; cook until the chicken loses its pink hue and the liquid within it runs smoothly, around 5 minutes. Introduce water and taco seasoning into the pan, stirring until the seasoning dissolves completely. Allow the mixture to simmer until the sauce thickens and adheres to the chicken, as well as the chicken is fully cooked, 3 to 5 minutes.
