- 3 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips

Combine vegetable oil, chili powder, lime juice, honey, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper in a medium-sized container until they are fully incorporated.

Prepare the chicken strips by placing them in a large, resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade into the bag and mix until the chicken is evenly coated; remove any air from the bag, seal it tightly, and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

Heat up an outdoor grill to a medium-high temperature, and lightly grease the grill surface with oil. Remove the chicken strips from their marinade; discard any remaining marinade.

Cook the chicken on the preheated grill until it is evenly browned on all sides and no longer pink in the center, approximately 10 minutes per side. Use an instant-read meat thermometer to check that the chicken has reached a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
