Chicken and Green Peppers in Black Bean Sauce
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic cloves, peeled and sliced
  • 6 tablespoons black bean sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast half - cut into cubes
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon dissolved in
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 large onion, peeled and sliced
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch dissolved in
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
1
Preheat a wok over medium heat until it reaches the optimal temperature, then add a small amount of toasted sesame oil and let it warm up for approximately 30 seconds. Introduce minced garlic and black bean sauce into the wok, followed by a pinch of salt to enhance flavor. Next, add boneless chicken breast to the wok and cook with constant stirring until it reaches a fully cooked state.
2
Now, pour in dissolved chicken broth to add moisture and depth to the dish. Cover the wok with a lid, then continue cooking for an additional 6 minutes to allow all flavors to meld together.
3
Subsequently, add sliced onions, chopped green onions, and diced bell peppers into the wok. Season with soy sauce to add a savory element and black pepper for added depth, then cover the wok once more. Cook for another 8 minutes to allow these ingredients to become tender.

In the final stages, stir in a mixture of cornstarch and water until it thickens into a rich sauce. Introduce chopped cilantro to the wok, and serve immediately
