Chicken Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients
  • 1 pound uncooked fettuccine or linguine
  • 2 boneless chicken breast halves, cooked and cubed
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo-style pasta sauce
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1/3 cup milk
Instructions
1
Fill a substantial container with water that has been lightly seasoned with salt, and then put it on the stove to heat up until it reaches a furious rolling boil.
2
Cook fettuccine in the boiling water for around 8 minutes, or until it is soft but still retains a bit of firmness when you bite into it. Remove the water from the pot using a colander or strainer, making sure to drain off any excess liquid.
3
While the pasta is cooking away, combine cubed cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, frozen vegetables, sliced mushrooms, and milk in a large cooking vessel over medium-low heat.
4
Stir the mixture constantly until the chicken is heated through and the vegetables are tender, at which point you can remove it from the heat source.
5
Serve the warm Alfredo and chicken sauce over the cooked noodles.
