- 1 cup caramel sauce (320 grams)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (120 milliliters)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (100 grams)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (28 grams)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the granulated sugar and stir continuously for about 5 minutes until it dissolves and turns a deep amber color.

Slowly add the heavy cream while stirring until the caramel sauce is smooth. Once combined, remove from heat and set aside to cool.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
