Submerge eggs in a saucepan and fill it with cold water, ensuring the eggs are completely submerged. Bring the mixture to a boil over extremely high heat.

Once the water reaches a rolling boil and the eggs begin to move slightly due to the heat, remove the saucepan from the heat source immediately and cover it with a lid. Allow the eggs to sit undisturbed for 17 minutes, refraining from lifting the lid.

Carefully pour out the hot water and replace it with cold water, making sure to cover the eggs again. Place the saucepan in the refrigerator and let it sit for an additional 20 minutes, allowing the eggs to cool down completely.

Once the eggs have cooled, peel them under a gentle stream of running water.
