Cheesy Refried Bean Dip
Ingredients
  • 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chiles (such as RO*TELĀ®), drained
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons shredded Cheddar cheese, or to taste

Combine the beans, which include refried and pinto varieties, along with diced tomatoes and green chiles, in a microwave-safe container. Add a pinch of salt to the mixture for flavor.

Microwave the bean mixture on high power for 4 and a half to five minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

Take the bean mixture out of the microwave and use a spoon to gently mash some of the pinto beans, leaving them slightly chunky.

Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the top of the bean mixture and present it to your guests immediately.
