Cheesy Macaroni Casserole
Ingredients
  • 3 cups uncooked macaroni
  • 1 (28 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes, drained and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2
To begin, fill a large container with water and add a moderate amount of salt. Place the pot on high heat and bring the water to a rolling boil.
3
Add macaroni to the boiling water and cook until it reaches your desired level of firmness, typically around 8-10 minutes. Remove the pasta from the water with a strainer and pour it into a large serving dish.
4
Simultaneously, combine diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Stir the ingredients together until they are well combined.
5
Meanwhile, add 1 cup of Cheddar cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese to the hot pasta. Continue stirring until all the cheese has melted and is fully incorporated.
6
Next, stir in the tomato and herb mixture you created earlier. Finally, sprinkle 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, and 1/4 cup of feta cheese over the top of your casserole.
7
Place the casserole in your preheated oven and bake for 15-25 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
