Cheesy Cauliflower Crumble
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 cups cooked cauliflower florets, drained
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (4 ounce) package garlic and herb cheese spread (such as BoursinĀ®)
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup French fried onions
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to its optimal temperature of three fifty degrees Fahrenheit or one seventy five degrees Celsius.
2
Next, take a butter knife and spread a generous amount of softened butter onto an eleven by seven-inch oven-safe casserole dish.
3
Add the cooked and drained cauliflower florets to the prepared casserole dish, then sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over them for added flavor.
4
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add a clove or two of minced garlic and cook until the aroma is released, about one to two minutes. Cut the cheese into small cubes and add it to the saucepan. Use a spatula to gently mix the cheese around until it begins to melt, taking about two to three minutes.
5
Add a splash of half-and-half and whisk until the mixture is smooth and well combined, about one to two minutes.
6
Then, stir in some grated Parmesan cheese and remove the saucepan from the heat source.
7
Pour the cheesy mixture over the cauliflower florets, followed by a sprinkle of French fried onions, sliced almonds, and crumbled cooked bacon.
8
Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake until it's hot, bubbly, and golden brown, approximately twenty minutes.
