- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 pound VELVEETA®, cut up
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, drained
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Heat a large saucepan over medium heat and melt the butter, stirring occasionally. Next, add the sliced onion to the saucepan and cook until it becomes translucent and tender, approximately 5 minutes.

Subsequently, add the flour to the saucepan and cook for a minute or until it starts to froth and bubble, stirring constantly throughout the process.

Then, stir in the milk, bringing the mixture to a boil. After that, lower the heat of the saucepan to medium-low and let it simmer for 1 minute.

Following that, add all the remaining ingredients to the saucepan - Velveeta cheese, broccoli florets, and a few grinds of pepper. Continue to cook until the Velveeta cheese is fully melted and the soup reaches a uniform temperature, stirring occasionally throughout this process.
