- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Firstly, preheat your oven to the desired temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or 175 degrees Celsius).

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the bacon and onion; cook, stirring occasionally until they sizzle and reach a golden brown state, approximately 5 minutes.

Add the beef to the skillet; add a pinch of salt and pepper for flavor, then cook, stirring occasionally until it reaches the desired texture, about 5 minutes.

Add a dash of garlic salt and onion powder for extra flavor; continue cooking until the beef is nicely browned, approximately 5 minutes more.

Remove excess grease from the skillet using a paper towel.

Transfer the beef mixture to the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate and cover it with 3/4 cup of Cheddar cheese.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, mayonnaise, and heavy cream until they are well combined.

Pour the egg mixture over the Cheddar cheese and beef mixture in the pie plate.

Place the pie plate in the preheated oven and bake until it's set, approximately 45 minutes.

Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of Cheddar cheese on top and continue baking until it's melted, approximately 10 minutes more.
