SERVINGS

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1/2 small yellow onion, chopped
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- cooking spray
- 8 (8 inch) flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded Colby cheese
- 4 teaspoons ketchup, or to taste
- 4 teaspoons yellow mustard, or to taste
- 4 teaspoons sweet relish, or to taste
Instructions
1
Heat a saucepan over medium heat and melt butter in it.
2
Once the butter has melted, add an onion to the saucepan and cook while stirring it until it becomes slightly tender, approximately 5 minutes pass.
3
Next, add ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the saucepan. Stir constantly until the beef is browned and crumbly, taking around 10 minutes.
4
Remove the saucepan from heat, let any excess liquid drip away from the beef, and allow it to rest for 2 minutes.
5
In a separate pan or griddle, heat it over medium heat and spray with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
6
Place a tortilla on the hot pan, followed by some Colby cheese, 1/4 of the beef mixture, a teaspoon of ketchup, a teaspoon of mustard, and a teaspoon of relish.
7
Add more Colby cheese on top and another tortilla to complete the quesadilla. Use your hands to press it down firmly.
8
Flip the quesadilla using a spatula and cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until it's browned and the cheese is melted.
9
Cut the quesadilla into 4 pieces, then repeat the process using the remaining tortillas and ingredients.
