Ingredients
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
- 8 ounces cubed Cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 medium onion, diced
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- 1 pinch dried parsley
- 1 pinch dried sage
- 1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon, drained, flaked and bones removed
- 1 (9 inch) frozen pie crust
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
1
Firstly, preheat your oven to the optimal temperature for baking, which is 375 degrees Fahrenheit or 190 degrees Celsius.
2
Then, in a blender, combine the evaporated milk, cubed Cheddar cheese, eggs, finely chopped onion, a pinch of salt, a few grinds of pepper, garlic powder, chopped parsley, and dried sage, blending the mixture until it's silky smooth.
3
Next, place a layer of salmon fillets on top of the pie crust, followed by half of the shredded Cheddar cheese. Pour the egg mixture over the salmon, and then sprinkle the remaining shredded Cheddar cheese on top.
4
Finally, bake the pie in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, taking approximately 30 minutes to achieve perfection.
