- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/8 cup chopped green onion
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

Combine the cauliflower, Cheddar cheese, egg, panko, green onion, salt, pepper, and paprika in a substantial bowl. Blend the ingredients until they are well incorporated; the resulting mixture will be quite crumbly.

Next, heat a generous amount of olive oil in a large skillet over a medium-high temperature until it reaches a hot state. Using an ice cream scoop, carefully pick up some of the cauliflower mixture and shape it into a flat patty. Gently place this patty in the hot oil; subsequently, reduce the heat to a medium temperature. Repeat with the remaining mixture. Continue cooking until a golden-brown crust forms, approximately 5 minutes on each side. Remove the patties to a platter and serve them immediately.
