Ingredients
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 dash ground allspice
- 1 dash ground cloves
- 1 3/4 cups mashed cooked pumpkin
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups warm 2% evaporated milk
- 1 (9 inch) prepared pie crust
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a hot temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or equivalently, 175 degrees Celsius.
2
Mix together the brown sugar, ground ginger, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves in a large bowl; combine pumpkin with eggs to form a smooth mixture. Blend the pumpkin mixture until it is well combined.
3
Add evaporated milk to the pumpkin mixture and stir until fully incorporated. Pour this mixture into your pie crust.
4
Place the pie in a preheated oven and bake until the filling is set, approximately 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from the oven when done and let cool to room temperature before serving.
