Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons minced shallots
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups chanterelle mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon brandy
- 1/2 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 24 mini phyllo tart shells
Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to a moderate temperature of 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees Celsius).
2
Warm olive oil in a substantial skillet over a moderate flame. Sear shallots until they start to develop a rich color. Introduce garlic and mushrooms into the skillet, cooking them until they become tender. Deglaze the pan with a liquor of choice, and season with thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper. Take the skillet off the heat, allowing it to cool down.
3
In a large container, blend egg, milk, Swiss cheese, cream cheese, and crispy bacon. Mix in the mushroom mixture thoroughly. Fill phyllo cups evenly with this mixture, and arrange them on a baking sheet.
4
Bake the prepared phyllo cups in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the filling has reached a solid state.
