- 1 (8 ounce) package vermicelli pasta, broken into 4-inch lengths
- 8 raisins, or more to taste

Combine milk, sugar, and ground cardamom in a saucepan over high heat; decrease the heat to low-medium and gently simmer for 5 minutes. Introduce broken vermicelli pasta and dried fruit into the milk mixture and continue to cook until the pasta is fully tenderized and the creamy sauce has reached a rich consistency, approximately 5 additional minutes. Take the saucepan off the heat and allow it to rest until warmed, approximately 15 minutes. If the pudding has become too dense, gently stir in a small amount of milk.
