- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups roasted Spanish peanuts
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 2 tart apples - peeled, cored and chopped

Combine marshmallows with pineapple chunks in a medium-sized container. Seal and chill, for an extended period of time - such as 8 hours or overnight.

Mix the pineapple juice that was set aside, sugar, egg that has been beaten, vinegar, and flour in a small saucepan over low heat. Cook constantly until the mixture thickens. Transfer to another medium-sized container; seal and chill, for an extended period of time - such as 8 hours or overnight.

Combine the chilled marshmallow mixture with the sauce in a large serving container. Stir in peanuts, whipped topping, and apples until everything is well incorporated. Seal the container again and chill the salad until it's time to serve.
