- 12 ounces kielbasa sausage
- 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 pinch ground black pepper

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Slice the kielbasa into three to four substantial portions, then cut each portion in half lengthwise. Cut the halves into thin crescent shapes approximately half an inch long.

In a medium-sized saucepan, combine brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, and pepper. Place the saucepan over low heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar has fully dissolved. Introduce the kielbasa into the saucepan and stir to combine.

Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the kielbasa pieces from the saucepan and spread them evenly across the prepared parchment paper. Reserve any remaining sauce in the saucepan.

Bake for 15 minutes to achieve a tender and flavorful kielbasa.

Remove the baked kielbasa from the oven, then carefully lift up the parchment paper and redeposit the kielbasa pieces back into the saucepan. Stir to coat the kielbasa in the sauce once more, then repeat the process of returning the kielbasa pieces to the parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
