Meanwhile, combine cereal, pecans, and almonds in a large mixing vessel.

In a separate saucepan, blend brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup until well combined. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over high heat.

Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly with a spoon to prevent scorching.

Then, pour the hot sugar mixture over the cereal and nuts in the mixing vessel, stirring until everything is evenly coated.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared roasting pan.

Next, place the roasting pan in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour. Every 15 minutes, remove the pan from the oven and stir the mixture to ensure even cooking.
