Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried fines herbes
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
Instructions
1
Gather all necessary ingredients and equipment beforehand.
2
Preheat your oven's broiler and position an oven rack approximately 6 inches away from the heat source. Cover a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil and lightly spray it with nonstick cooking spray for easy cleanup.
3
Combine minced garlic and olive oil in a small, microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes to create a fragrant garlic mixture.
4
Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat and gradually add the garlic-infused oil. Remove from heat and stir in white wine, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, a blend of herbs known as fines herbes, black pepper, and garlic salt to create the sauce.
5
Arrange salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared pan. Drizzle about one-third of the butter sauce over the fillets and sprinkle with fresh dill for added flavor.
6
Place the salmon under the preheated broiler for 3 minutes. Flip the fillets over so that a different side faces up and baste them with about one-third of the remaining butter sauce. Continue broiling for another 3 minutes. Finally, flip the fillets over once more so that the opposite side is facing up and baste them with the remaining butter sauce. Cook until the salmon flakes easily with a fork, approximately 3 more minutes.
