Buttery Fried Cabbage
Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 head cabbage, cored and coarsely chopped
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper

Heat the chicken broth and butter in a large skillet over high heat, stirring occasionally until they reach a rolling boil.

Reduce the heat to a simmer and gently introduce the cabbage into the skillet, taking care not to splash any of the hot broth.

Cover the skillet with a lid and continue cooking over low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching, until the cabbage has reached a tender and caramelized state, approximately 45 minutes.

Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
