  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can beer, room temperature
  • 4 ounces cubed Cheddar cheese, or to taste

To begin, lightly coat a 9 or 10 inch cast iron skillet with a thin layer of oil.

In a spacious mixing container, combine the self-rising flour, sugar, onion powder, dill weed and salt.

Next, slowly pour in the beer, stirring constantly until all dry ingredients are fully incorporated.
