Next, take the mochi and gently submerge it into a small amount of soy sauce, coating each piece evenly.

Then, carefully arrange the mochi onto a baking sheet in a single layer.

Place the baking sheet into your preheated oven and let it cook until the mochi is heated through, which should take around 5 minutes.

Simultaneously, cut the nori sheets into eight equal strips.

In a large skillet, heat the nori strips over medium heat until they are warm and pliable, taking about 1 to 2 minutes.

Remove the skillet from the heat source and let it cool slightly.
