  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh broccoli, cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar

Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius.

Next, toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, or until they start to transform into a golden hue. Set them aside for later use.

In a separate container, bring a large amount of water to a rolling boil. Then, cook the broccoli in boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of tenderness. Drain the water and transfer the broccoli to a large serving container.

In another small bowl, combine the vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and toasted sesame seeds. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated. Pour this dressing over the broccoli and toss everything together to coat the vegetables evenly.
