Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 6 strips bacon
- 3 heads broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 1/3 cup salted sunflower kernels, toasted
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries

Prepare the dressing: Combine mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Refrigerate the mixture until it's ready to use.

Prepare the salad: Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until it's nicely browned on all sides, around 10 minutes. Remove the bacon from the skillet with a slotted spoon and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess fat, then crumble the bacon into small pieces and set it aside.

Assemble the salad: Combine broccoli, onion, sunflower seeds, and cranberries in a large serving bowl. Add the crumbled bacon to the bowl and toss gently until everything is well mixed, then drizzle with the chilled dressing.
