Broccoli Beef
Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 pound boneless round steak, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/4 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger root
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chopped fresh broccoli
Instructions
1
Combine the dry ingredients - flour and sugar - with a liquid component, broth, and an additional flavor enhancer, soy sauce. Ensure the mixture is smooth by stirring until both sugar and flour are fully incorporated.
2
Next, heat a large cooking vessel, preferably a skillet or wok, over extremely high temperatures. Cook and constantly stir the beef for 2 to 4 minutes, or until it reaches a brown color.
3
Subsequently, introduce the previously prepared mixture of broth, ginger, garlic, and broccoli into the skillet. Bring the entire contents to a rolling boil before gradually decreasing the heat.
4
Finally, allow the mixture to simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, or until the sauce reaches a thick and desired consistency.
