Ingredients
- 12 slices bacon
- 2 heads fresh broccoli, florets only
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 cup seedless green grapes
- 1 cup seedless red grapes
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup blanched slivered almonds
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup white sugar

Preheat a substantial, deep skillet over a moderately high heat level. Add the bacon and cook until it is uniformly browned, breaking up any clumps as it cooks. Remove the cooked bacon from the skillet with a slotted spoon, crumble it into smaller pieces, and set it aside for later use.

In a spacious salad bowl, combine the cooked bacon, broccoli florets, celery stalks, green onions, green grapes, red grapes, raisins, and sliced almonds.

In a separate container, blend together the mayonnaise, vinegar, and sugar until well combined. Pour this dressing mixture over the salad and toss everything together to coat it evenly. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate until you're ready to serve.
