- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

Combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Mix well to create a uniform blend of ingredients

Cut the tofu into 1/4 inch thick slices and submerge them in a bowl of cold water. One slice at a time, gently press the tofu into the bread crumb mixture, ensuring all sides are evenly coated
