Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup blueberry jam
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius. To prevent the baking sheet from sticking, cover it with a layer of parchment paper, making sure to line the entire surface.
2
In a separate bowl, combine three dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix these dry ingredients together until they form a uniform blend.
3
In another bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together two sweet ingredients: sugar and butter. Continue mixing until the mixture becomes light, airy, and fluffy. Next, add two eggs to the bowl and mix until they are fully incorporated into the mixture.
4
Add three additional ingredients - oats, chocolate chips, and blueberry jam - to the bowl. Mix everything together until these ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
5
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the blueberry jam mixture, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
6
Spoon small amounts of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each spoonful.
7
Bake the dough in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until it reaches a golden brown color. Remove the baked goods from the oven and transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
