Ingredients
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups frozen blueberries, dry pack
- 1/3 cup blueberry jelly
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a moderate temperature of 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees Celsius).
2
Mix together graham crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl until you have achieved a uniform blend. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create an even layer.
3
In a separate mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to soften and cream the cream cheese until it reaches your desired consistency. Gradually incorporate sour cream, 3/4 cup of sugar, flour, and vanilla extract into the mixture.
4
Beat in eggs one at a time to create a smooth and even texture. Pour the cheesecake mixture into the prepared pan.
5
Bake the cheesecake in your preheated oven for approximately 1 hour, or until it is firm to the touch.
6
Place the baked cheesecake in the refrigerator to chill thoroughly, allowing it to cool for about 4 hours.
7
Remove the cheesecake from the pan by gently loosening the edges with a knife and opening the springform latch. Transfer the cheesecake to a serving platter.
8
Place frozen blueberries on top of the cheesecake, allowing their natural sweetness to complement the dessert.
9
Melt jelly in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally. Spoon the melted jelly over the blueberries to create a glaze.
10
Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve, allowing the flavors to meld together.
