Silky Black Sesame Pudding

  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons powdered unflavored gelatin
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons black sesame paste

Combine water and gelatin in a bowl and whisk until the gelatin is fully incorporated.

Combine milk, sugar, and black sesame paste in a saucepan over medium heat; cook and stir constantly until the sugar has dissolved, 2 to 4 minutes. Introduce the gelatin mixture into the milk mixture; cook and stir until the pudding has reached the desired consistency, 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature for 5 minutes.

Transfer the chilled pudding into individual serving containers and refrigerate until it has fully set, approximately 2 hours.
